Engineers in Reception

To lead into STEM, Reception read 'Rosie Revere Engineer' this week and learnt about the importance of making a plan before building. Children drew designs of their inventions before making them using junk modelling materials. They talked about how they would follow their plan.

In Maths, children continue to embed their understanding of the composition of 6,7,8 using Numicon and number stories. 

They absolutely loved Sele Spa day on Wednesday!
