Flying Kites in Reception

This week Reception loved writing about themselves as babies and discussing how they had changed. Great excitement and giggles ensued when they discovered baby photos in their Literacy books. Children wrote short sentences such as, I had a cot, I drank milk. 

Our class text was Titch so children made their own kites to fly outside. They measured each other’s shadows, used footprints to measure lengths and ordered items according to length.
