Hidden Nature Challenge with the RHS

This year, Sele First became part of the National Education Nature Park, in conjunction with the RHS. To kick things off, the Eco Warriors welcomed Jane Pollinger from the Nature Park into school to take part in the Hidden Nature Challenge.

Children developed digital mapping and data skills by logging hidden and surprising signs of nature on our new yard. They were surprised to find plants growing out of mud, a yellow and white spotted ladybird and some lichen in the bushcraft zone!

These discoveries will inform the next steps for developing wildlife habitats in our school grounds.
