KS2 NSAA Cross Country

Today, 23 children from KS2 braved torrential rain to take part in the Northumberland Schools Athletics Association Cross Country County Championships at Temple Park, South Shields.

The heavens were open and it didn't stop for the entire event, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the children, who took on the 2km course with gusto.

The children showed determination and bags of resilience as they completed a lap of the course, finishing with solid times. All children were a credit to the school, but particular congratulations to our Year Three boys team, who had two top ten finishes in the county.  Zach finishing in third and Obie in ninth.
