Looking at Egger

This week in Y3 children have started their Geography topic on Egger: From Forest to Factory. We talked about how some people think it is a ‘cloud factory’ when in fact it is a manufacturing plant that makes chipboard. We looked at the ingredients that they use to create their chipboard and tried to sort them into their categories of recycled materials, hackwood and sawdust.
