STEMgineers in Year 2!
STEM Open Day
Throughout the day, children used Ozobots to race on their own hand drawn track and designed their own racing game using Sketch Nation (an app on the iPads). Most importantly, they have test driven their cars using a Sphero to evaluate their design and whether they need to tinker and adjust aspects before the big race today!
Professor Brainstorm
Y2 were excited to welcome a scientist into school today! Professor Brainstorm was very impressed with the children’s Scientific vocabulary, especially when talking about their impressive knowledge of conductors and insulators.

Y2 The BIG Race!
Today was the day we have all been waiting for... we all had lots of fun cheering on our friends during the races. Congratulations to the winners and well done to everyone for taking part!
STEMgineers Dress Up Day
It has been lovely to see a range of mechanics, engineers and drivers attend school today! Thank you to grown ups for your support with this, we have loved seeing the homemade costumes too.
