Sounds and Messages in Reception

It's been a busy reading week in Reception, learning new sounds and sharing books with friends and adults in the Reading Corner. During 'Busy Bee' time, children sorted objects according to their initial sound (e.g. toothpaste goes into the 't' pot).

As children begin to learn new phonics sounds, the excitement of writing messages has begun! Lots of these contain symbols, drawings and some of the letters they have learnt so far.
