Y4 - National Writing Day

Stories, raps, poems, letters! Year 4 have spent National Writing Day getting creative. In the morning, they chose to visit the magic classroom, the sport classroom or the nature classroom where they were encouraged to explore different genres of writing and writing for different audiences. They created recipes for magic potions, basketball raps, top trump cards and story books. 

'Muddy Sentences' was up next where they worked in teams to order the given words into sentences. This task definitely took determination, teamwork and lots of resilience!

Finally, children visited the 'Spelling Station' in the movement lab for a game of Human Hungry Hippos!
