Year 4 Athletics

On Friday, Year Four ventured up to Hexham Middle School for a morning of athletics.  65 of our children took part in the School Games competition called 'Quadkids', facilitated by the fantastic Hexham Middle School leaders.

A Quadkids event comprises of four different athletic disciplines; a 50m sprint, 400m run, standing long jump and the howler throw. Children rotated around each of the four stations to record their personal best in each event. 

All children worked hard across the four stations and enjoyed playing fun games in the breaks from competition.  We eagerly await our results to see if anyone from 'Team Sele' makes it to the regional School Games finals later in the year.
