Reading Rangers

As part of the Personal Development curriculum children have the opportunity to put themselves forward for a leadership role.

Reading Rangers play an integral role in developing a love of reading across school. After participating in a 'storytelling' workshop delivered by Clare from Cogito bookshop, our Reading Rangers are equipped with confidence, a storyteller voice and some recommended books to deliver a weekly story time to other classes.

Throughout the year, our Reading Rangers help to make very important decisions too! Working closely with Cogito bookshop, they select the World Book Day books which they 'sell' during our World Book Day pop up shop as well as recommending new books for our KS1 and KS2 library.
