Wellbeing Champions

As part of the personal development curriculum children have the opportunity to put themselves forward for a leadership role.

Wellbeing Champions meet together to talk about how they can support their peers. They plan whole school projects to get everyone involved and identify resources they find useful to share with their peers.

They are responsible for the Wellbeing bookcase which houses many texts that discuss themes such as feelings, positive mindset and topics including friendship. Wellbeing Champions are encouraged to select books from this area to share in class and assemblies.

Wellbeing Champions are allocated a badge to wear as part of their school uniform. They take time to make themselves known to their peers and monitor the use of classroom resources such as Zones of Regulation.
