School Council

As part of the personal development curriculum, children have the opportunity to put themselves forward for a leadership role.

At Sele First School, our school council is a group of children who represent the views and opinions of all pupils. School council help to make decisions about school life and develop projects such as supporting organising theme days and representing school at outside events.

School Council meet regularly with representative teachers and the headteacher.

Who are the school council representatives?

A new school council is elected each year, with a representative for each class from Year One - Year Four. All school council representatives are elected by their peers at the start of each academic year.
