They follow the Y4 or lower KS2 programmes of study from the Primary Curriculum.
Children are taught key subjects through specific units of work for example themes and projects such as Take One Picture, Beowulf and the Anglo Saxons, and Harry Potter during STEM fortnight.
Children can be taught by different teachers for example in Spanish and Music and in PE they work with a number of specialist coaches for example tennis and cricket.
Children have a weekly swimming lesson one morning each week. They also have access to an exciting range of extra-curricular clubs such as Choir, Football and Dance. In the spring term they have the opportunity to go on an outdoor activity residential to Robinwood Activity Centre.
Children are assessed regularly so that we can plan next steps and report progress to parents.
