Bee Aware

To start their Geography topic of Food and Farming, Year 3 were visited by a local beekeeper. They found out many facts about bees and were especially interested to hear that bees are extremely important for our survival. The children also got to see a range of beekeeping equipment up close, such as a smoker and part of a hive. Some lucky children even got to try on a full bee keeping suit!
