Biscuits and Hot Chocolate around the Firepit

To celebrate Winter and the end of term, Reception made biscuits and hot chocolate. Having used sets of old balance scales in the classroom for weeks, they were intrigued by modern scales! They measured butter, sugar and flour and combined it to make dough. 

Outside, we talked about fire safety around the fire pit.
