Santa Dash 2024-25

Today we finally hosted our annual Santa Dash after suffering the disappointment of having it cancelled earlier in the month.

The weather was slightly kinder, although the wind played havoc with the boundary markings. Thankfully, quick-thinking Y1 parent Gary Wilson was on hand to help out with a small team of passers by from our school community, allowing the run to take place! Many thanks for your support.

Assisted by the brilliant QEHS Sports Leaders, children warmed up then took on the course - a lap of the Sele followed by the steep ascent of the hill!  Following this, we then ran over the brow of the hill and onto the path at the back, before heading down and round through the skateboard park to the finish.

A shiny new medal awaited the children who finished the fun run, before the children headed back into the warmth of school! Congratulations to all who took part.
