Year 1 Giant Mystery!

This week, Year 1 found some unusual clues in the school garden! A castle, some beans and a giant footprint all pointed towards a giant visitor in the garden! Children used an inference square to work out what the ‘knew’ and what they ‘thought they knew’ from the clues. They planned and wrote a newspaper report to share the news of the mystery. 

On the Creative table, children have been creating a collage of what they thought the giant visitor looked like, painted beanstalks and huge leaves to create a beanstalk fit for a giant!
