Year 1 Traditional Tales

This week Year 1 have been thinking about different traditional tales starting with Little Red Riding Hood. They listened to the traditional story alongside alternative versions including The Wolf’s Story by Toby Forward. They thought about questions they would like to ask the wolf in order to give him a second chance. They planned and wrote a letter asking their chosen questions.

On the Creative table, children have been creating collages of the key characters and contributing to a whole class story map.
